The father of Britain's tiniest baby born for 20 years has celebrated his miracle daughter's first birthday - by getting down on one knee and proposing to her mum

***EXCLUSIVE*** Recruit Quaci Crosby, 26, was among the latest group of trainee sailors celebrating the end of their 10-week basic training at HMS Raleigh in Cornwall. He had no idea his mother Althea would be among the group of families and friends invited to the parade. Unknown to him, classmate Recruit Cameron Hawes had secretly paid for, and organised his mum’s flight, so she could be there for her son’s big day.  Able Seaman Crosby said: „It was very important to have my mum here because joining the Royal Navy was one of my dreams.”

The 7th British Unicycling Championships

***EXCLUSIVE*** The championship took place as part of the small Lancashire town's Festival of Racing, which includes cycle road races and athletics. Competitors race for a total of 8 miles, completing 7 laps of the circuit around the town. June 16 2019. These pictures show competitors racing in the seventh annual British Unicycling Championships over the weekend.  The unusual event was held in the town of Horwich, near Bolton, Greater Mancs, on Sunday (16/6).  Riders raced for a total of eight miles, completing seven laps of the circuit before crossing the finish line.  The event was won by Roger Davies from Stockton on Tees, County Durham, who owns a unicycle-selling business.
