''Mad'' Mike Hughes the flat-Earther, rocket man builder and daredevil who launched himself 1,875 feet into the air on a self built rocket back in March 2018, tried again Sunday and Monday east of Amboy CA, Aug 11-12, 2019. There were issues with building up the pressure and Mike had to scrub both days to fix the issues. The attempt is being filmed by the Science Channel for the upcoming new series ''Homemade Astronauts.'' to air in 2020. In the upcoming launch attempt, Hughes is aiming for a greater height of 5,000 feet and will try again with in a week if all repairs go well.
