Creative man hilariously re-imagines classic album covers to reflect our covd times

***EXCLUSIVE*** Fleetwood Mac stockpiling toilet roll, the members of Blur on a Zoom call and The Verve being shouted at police for flouting social-distancing rules. These are the re-imagined classic album covers that reflect the unprecedented age of coronavirus. Andy Goff (@goff_andy), from London, has put a creative COVID-19 twist on album covers from the musicians such as the Arctic Monkeys, Blur, Rolling Stones, Blondie, Simon & Garfunkel, Michael BublŽ and David Bowie. The freelance designer and animator has used his talent to produce hilarious pictures such as Elton John being told by police to stop walking on his classic „Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” album cover. But he also incorporated other themes that the crisis has thrown up such as Kyle Minogue re-painting a wall with her extra time during the lockdown and rapper Dizzee Rascal watching NetflixÕs breakout pandemic hit show Tiger King. Andy explains: „I didn’t want to just move band members on album covers to highlight self-distancing, or to just add masks to everyone. This is an ever changing situation. I wake up in the morning look at the news and whatever is being highlighted on that particular day I try and find a cover that I can make a social comment with.” Like many creative workers Andy found that his work has suddenly dried up with his diary completely empty.
