Woman who suffers with dementia comes to life when her favourite singer Cliff Richard plays

***EXCLUSIVE*** Carers looking after a dementia patient say the only thing that makes her smile are the words 'Cliff Richard' - and they even wear a Cliff mask to cheer her up. Yvonne 'Yvie' Salisbury, 76, sometimes can't recognise her own family but always recognises the 'Living Doll' singer. Yvie, a retired shorthand typist, used to lived close to the mega star when she was a teenager living in London.  She never met Cliff, who lived near her house in Winchmore Hill, but admired him from afar and followed his career closely.  Now she suffers with dementia and sometimes can't recognise her own family but always recognises Cliff - and her carers put on a mask of his face to cheer her up.  Yvie's carer, Sarah Venn, 34, said: "She grew up on the same street as Cliff Richard and before now she forgot who she was herself, but she remembers who Cliff is.”

Netflix unveils handcrafted lantern display to celebrate release of „Over The Moon”

London, United Kingdom: From this evening a magical lantern Installation will be illuminated in London’s Chinatown, and from this Friday in Birmingham’s Chinese Quarter, to mark the release of the brand-new animated film OVER THE MOON, ahead of the film’s global debut on Netflix this Friday (23Oct20). Across a 100 metre stretch including iconic Gerrard Street in London and brought to life with a thrilling animated illumination of over 12,000 LED lights, the spectacular lanterns tell the story of Netflix’s OVER THE MOON with Fei Fei and her trusty partner Bungee the Rabbit travelling to the Moon to find Change, the Moon Goddess whose legendary tale gave birth to the Mid-Autumn festival.
