Gym workout saves womans life

***EXCLUSIVE*** A self-professed 'gym hater' claims WORKING OUT saved her life after discovering a lump in her breast that turned out to be cancer - despite doctors 'fobbing her off' and telling her to 'stop coming back'. Sarah Bailey, from Brooklands, Greater Manchester, was lifting weights towards the end of November 2020 when she suddenly suffered a shooting pain in her right breast. Crying out in pain, the 35-year-old released the weight and then felt her breast and was horrified to discover a golf ball-sized lump.

Oslo to build green 'science city'

Oslo, Norway: Norway is to be home to a new science city hosting 150,000 scientists, students, entrepreneurs, aiming to contribute to the country’s transition to renewable energy. Located in central Oslo, the area is currently home to approximately 300 start-up companies, 7,500 researchers, 10,000 hospital employees and 30,000 students. The aim of the new project, designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) architects alongside local experts and science groups, is to provide a physical framework for an innovation district in the country. It is hoped it will create economic growth of 22% in Oslo by 2045 or approximately 1.6 million inhabitants. The innovation district aims to be a net zero emission area that builds on renewable energy, energy efficiency, circular economic principles and zero emission solutions during development and operation. The plan identifies four thematic areas to position Oslo Science City as a leading centre for innovation, knowledge-based value creation and sustainable solutions based on existing and future activities: Health and Life Sciences, incl. Norway’s largest Life Sciences building for research and teaching to be completed by 2026 and an expansion of Oslo Cancer Cluster.

Demand and Inventory Analyst Heekyoung Jin (38) won the fifth Omaze Million Pound House Draw. The house is a stunning five-bedroom house, just around the corner from Wimbledon’s famous Centre Court, worth £3,500,000. Heekyoung had originally entered the bid to do her part for charity as the Omaze Million Pound House Draw donates to Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) where her son is a former patient. Heekyoung’s two-year-old son, Lukas suffered breathing difficulties and was admitted to the ICU at Great Ormond Street Hospital at just three months old. He was diagnosed with a rare condition that caused an irregular growth in his chest. He underwent life-saving surgery to remove the growth at the hospital and was an inpatient there for three months. Heekyoung purchased a £25 ticket bundle in June on the first day the draw opened, after seeing the Omaze Million Pound House Draw on Instagram.

Hacker posed as mum

***EXCLUSIVE*** A mum says she feared her daughter could be 'snatched by a paedophile' after a sophisticated hacker posed as HER in an attempt to lure the schoolgirl into sending 'photos'. Hayley Lanciano, from Gloucester, Gloucestershire, was sent into a panic when she received a message from daughter Emily Lanciano, 12, asking if she'd dropped her a text from a new number. The savvy schoolgirl then sent over a screenshot of a message purportedly from her 37-year-old mother asking her to save the new number and send over photos.

Tequila sunrise dive

***EXCLUSIVE*** TULUM, MEXICO: Mesmerizing images of a diver swimming in water that looks like a TEQUILA SUNRISE cocktail have been captured. One image shows a diver with a torchlight discovering the cave floor. Another image showing the otherworldly colours caused by the rare combination of rainfall and tannic acid in the water, shows a close-up shot of the same diver. These incredible images were taken in Cenote Carwash, Tulum, Mexico by British underwater photographer Tom St George (50). Tom used a Sony A7Sii camera with Zeiss 18mm lens in a Nauticam underwater housing to click these pictures during a 70 minute dive.

Angry mating leopards

***EXCLUSIVE*** BOJANALA, SOUTH AFRICA: Ferocious love-making between a pair of amorous leopards has been captured. One image shows the leopards spotted on top of one another looking like they are dancing. Another image shows the 150-pound male leopard behind the 90-pound female leopard. These pictures were taken in Pilanesberg National Park, Bojanala, South Africa by local teacher Johan Wandrag (56). Wandrag used a Canon 7D Mkii with a 100 - 400mm lens to capture these images from 70 metres away.
